There will be lots of new music released this next year as well as re-releases of the older catalog - including never-before-heard bonus tracks!
A special announcement will be coming soon in regards to upcoming concerts!
So stay tuned ...

SCOTT DRAUGHON, THE SIXTH MAN
PANGÆA welcomes multi-instrumentalist Scott Draughon into the band! Draughon performed live shows with PANGÆA in 2001-2002 and has returned to add his guitars, keyboards, vocals, and percussion for upcoming concerts. He’s a veteran of Texas-based bands such as classic-rock inspired Vintage Thunder.
In a recent interview Ron Poulsen stated, “After we returned from San Jose recording our latest album and then started to rehearse for playing live we very quickly realized we could not cover all the parts on the recordings with the five of us. Multiple keyboard and guitar parts. Scott was the obvious choice to fill that void. Having played in the band before he knew the music. Heavy prog influence. And more importantly he is a brother. We get along well with each other. I am glad he said yes when he got the call. I can tell you firsthand the first time all six of us got in the room together it was a very big and full sound!!! It's an honor to have him on board. I look forward to playing with him on stage soon.”

A second song from Andi’s explorations of the Pecos River Valley. It’s based on another cave painting that had an impact on him. The words and the music - all his. He does several percussion tracks on it and Steve really delivers the vocals. - Corey Schenck

"The Fall of Rome" reverts to the rock roots of the band. There is a catchy chorus, but Corey's lyrics are much deeper, drawing a parallel between modern society and the ancient civilisation. This is quite an impressive song, with Darrell really powering out the vocals.”

"During the first two weeks of August we traveled to San Jose, California to record at Soundtek Studios with our friend and producer Robert Berry. We worked with our vocal coach and engineer Thom Duell and did a photo shoot on top of Mount Umunhum with Dave Lepori."
"Since February, we were writing, arranging, and recording demos. The result is seventy-six minutes across fourteen new songs we are able to record with Robert. If you liked the music we released in the past, I don't think you'll be disappointed with the new music; it's stronger in the writing, arranging, the playing, and its general focus."
"We also have twelve songs we recorded with Robert in 2004 that we are looking forward to releasing soon."

On Friday, June 4, the band met in Dallas, Texas to discuss the possibilities of a reunion. A unanimous decision was made to regroup and rise from the ashes.
A photo shoot with close friend and photographer Mark Nguyen took place in downtown Dallas on June 5.
Ron: “We did a thing this past weekend in Dallas. The five members of PANGAEA got together ... It had been eighteen years since the five of us had been in the same place together! Good times to say the least indeed!”.
On July 24, PANGÆA held their first rehearsals with the original and definitive five-man lineup in Houston, Texas.
